The Pumpkin Wagon visited again this year to bring students pumpkins!  Students always enjoy getting to go out and choose their own pumpkin!  Thanks to Polly and Dennis Brawner for coming to see us again this year!!!

Meet the 2007-2008 Royal Court of Westside!!  A new Prince and Princess and King and Queen were recognized at the Fall Festival this year!  They are: 
Prince-Quentin Burton
Princess-Brooklyn Meador
King-Nicholas Gregory
Queen-Destiny Brawner

During the Scarecrow Throw, a mysterious rooster appeared behind Mr. Flynn to put a shaving cream pie in his face!  Students had a great time trying to hit the scarecrow and getting Mr. Flynn really wet!!

The Cumberland University Woodwind Ensemble visited school recently to perform!  Music teacher, Carol Trent, arranged this performance along with the Macon County Arts Council.  A drama group also attended from the college and performed scenes from the Wizard of Oz.  The students really enjoyed these performances!!!

Wood and Strings Theatre returned to Westside this year!  Through a grant received by the school, the performance group brought the sets and puppets to perform Backwoods Ramblin'.  This story set in the country was very funny and featured some fantastic puppetry work!
